Abstract:
In this talk, we will present a new integrable peakon system with cubic and quadratic nonlinearity. We first discuss its integrability, such as its Lax pair and bi-Hamiltonian structure. Then we derive its peaked soliton (peakon) solutions and show two-peakon dynamics and collisions.Finally, through a comparison, we will show significant difference between the standard Camassa-Holm equation and the generalized CH system we proposed. This is jointed work with Baoqiang Xia.
